SADY
Summer At Dalesbridge Yorkshire
SADY
Is the name the organisers have affectionately adopted for this Plus Holiday.
FACILITIES
Are very good. The venue is cosy with a well stocked bar providing quality real ales from the Timothy Taylor Brewery plus draught beers & lagers from Carlsberg. A selection of Alco-Pops will also be available.
We will have exclusive use of one of the site fields for camping which can hold up to 50 tents. Brick built toilet & shower blocks are available with power showers, plenty of hot water and under floor heating. Bunk houses are an option but they are few & far between and will be available subject to availability.
Subject to interest & availability we can arrange small parties to go caving, abseiling or climbing. You will be fully insured and instructors/equipment will be provided.
ENTERTAINMENT
Disco and live entertainment every evening.
BBQ, Lazy Afternoon Film, Mega Quiz, Ramble & Real Ale Trip
LOCATION
The venue is The Dalesbridge Centre in North Yorkshire along the A65 in between Ingleton and Settle just outside the village of Austwick. The views are spectacular with many well walked paths and lots of local interests and activities.
GENERAL
We want this weekend to be enjoyably free and easy. We have made provision for indoor entertainment if the weather lets us down and some outdoor fun if the weather is good – BUT – if you want to slob around and do absolutely nothing then that’ s fine with us.
Breakfasts are available for members who pre-book, as are packed lunches if you intend to do the Ramble on Sunday morning. Breakfasts will be served between 9.00am and 10.00am on both mornings in the dining area (just behind reception) and consist of a bacon or sausage bun with a mug of tea/coffee.
