Plus National Officers

National Executive Committee
The National Executive Committee is the body that discusses matters of National Plus significance. They meet every 3 months. The NEC has wide ranging powers which includes changes to all the constitutions and standing orders. The Area Chairman are mandated to vote by the decision made at the respective discussion within the Area Council meetings which are also once per quarter. In reality changes to the constitution are changed at the National Annual General Meeting where all groups are invited to vote on national topics.

General Purposes Committee
The general purposes committee have different powers to the NEC and make the decisions that enable Plus to run on a day to day basis. The GPC attend NEC meetings but do not vote.

Project Officers
These members spend a large amount of time assisting the NEC and co-ordinating various areas of Plus. Each project officer is invited to each NEC meeting to provide status updates and partake in the discussions however they do not vote on the topics.

Vice Presidents
These elected officials are nominated by the NEC and are elected at the National Annual General Meeting. They act as advisors to the GPC and NEC. They are invited to NEC meetings but cannot vote.
