+ National Plus +
The organisation which is now known as Plus started well over 60 years ago. There have been many changes over the years, to arrive at the organisation as it is now. To learn more about our journey, click here for information about the History of Plus.
“Plus” is a nationwide social and activities organisation for people aged 18 - 35. and also incorporates “Quest” which is for those aged 36 and over. Plus and Quest both offer their members the chance to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy a wide range of weekday and weekend activities on a local, Area and National basis. Hundreds of members meet up each week in around 40 different locations and our events calendar is always full with almost every type of activity you can think of.
As we are a voluntary organisation all activities are organised by members, so active involvement is appreciated, but not required. You can do as much or as little as you feel like. You could help out with organising events, take part or just relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. You are sure to be made welcome, whatever your level of interest.
Have a look around our site, find your nearest club, view their page, and go to meet them. We are convinced you will find something to your liking.
Below you will find the National Plus 'River of News' - this is a list of all national scale events, news, event reviews and articles on the website in order of submitted date. Every Plus Area and Group page has their own 'River of News' on their page (click Groups above).
You will also see listed imminent events from across the country on the left hand side of the page. See more events in date order on our Events Calendar, you can search the calendar by the organising group or type of event.
